MAURICE D. LEONARD, M.D., FACP
Dr. Leonard is a native of southern New Jersey. After graduating Atlantic City High School and Yale University, he obtained his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. He did his Internal Medicine residency and Gastrointestinal Fellowship at the New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Leonard is
also a Fellow of
the American College of Physicians.
His clinical interests include all areas of gastroenterology and hepatology with a special interest in hepatitis, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, colon cancer screening and nutritional support with additional training in
ERCP, the Bravo system for
GERD, and the PillCam.
Dr. Leonard is married with two children and enjoys photography, travel, collecting fountain pens, and when the Philadelphia Eagles win.
Dr. Maurice Leonard was selected Nurses' Choice 2010 Top Doctor for Gastroenterology. NJ Monthly magazine gives the state’s nurses picks for the 180 Top Doctors that they work alongside every day.
